Although the syllabus indicates that the Final exam will be a
take home distributed the last class, and due one week later, I have
decided to post it two weeks in advance to provide you with maximum
opportunity to reflect and write your answers. It consists of
10 identifications, 10 short answers, and 1 required essay question based
upon your class presentation- all three sections worth up to 50 total
points).
Identifications:
Select 10 of the most prominent Marylanders you learned about in class
and in your reading, supplemented by the readings on the CD I lent you.
Write brief paragraphs for each on who they were and why they were important
to Maryland History. Be sure to use the secondary sources on the
CD I lent you. All the volumes on the CD are searchable by name.

how the documents and secondary sources you read and summarized in class,
are important to our understanding of Maryland History and why.
