Dear I laden m I rooeived your favor of December 16th, The Maryland state authorities are doing everything tnc.t can be done to apprehend the perpetrators of the illiams lynching, I enclose you editorial from 1&e Baltimore Sun of Deoember Hth, reviewing the steps I have taken, and also copy of my statement on the subject which appeared in the Sun on Deoember Oth.
