While on pass you will be observed by civilians who will
judge the United States Army by your appearance and conduct
as an individual. Failure on your part to conform to regula-
tions with respect to wearing your uniform and to live up to
the highest traditions of the service will result in unfavorable
criticism of your Army, your organization, and yourself.
I have read and understand the above statement and am
familiar with the provisions of paragraphs 1 to 59 of the
Soldier's Handbook (FM 21-100).
