Founded by Johns Hopkins, who left his fortune to this
noted Institution.

of the Chiefs of the City Department.
13. FRANCIS SCOTT KEY MONUMENT AND EUTAW
PLACE TEMPLE.
Eutaw Place and Lanvale Sts. Dedicated to the memory of
the illustrious Poet, who wrote the Star Spangled Banner.
The Temple is shown in the background.
14. CUSTOM HOUSE.
Situated at Gay, Water. Lombard and Holliday Streets.
15. LEXINGTON STREET BUILDING. "
Situated at Lexington and Liberty Sts., owned by the Public
Service Building Company.
