% of almost 1000 feet from Frostburg. This
re portion of the road is in a very bad con-
> dition. The state of Maryland, however,
has begun the re-building of two miles
£ of the road—one mile near Eckhart and
v one mile west of Frostburg. Less than
~ one mile distant, after crossing Savage
JJ River, the summit of Little Savage
