Genl. Smith suggesting the absolute necessity there is of procuring for the use of the sick empty houses or in preference the public Hospital in the neighborhooud of Chinquepin Hill do take pleasure in Consequence of the present Exigencies to tender to the Committee of Vigilence and Safety and hereby inform them, that they hold in readiness at a moments call Comfortable House room in their Hospital, for perhaps One thousand persons, leaving any Compensation to be received hereafter for the same, to be such sum only as the Committee of Vigilance and Safety, appointed by our fellow Citizens, shall say.
