Detail - Pilmico. Maryland Steeplechase Association.
A communication was received from V/m.P.Riggs, Chairman of Maryland Steeplechase Association, requesting a detail of one Sergeant and six patrolmen for duty at Pilmico during the races thereat, under the auspices of the said association November 4, 6 and 8,1902.
It was ordered that the said communication be referred to the Marshal with instructions to make the detail as requested, selecting such members of the force for said detail as he may see fit.
Insurance. Police Patrol Boat Lannan.
It was ordered, by the following vote, that insurance now held on the Police Patrol Boat Lannan for the sum of §7500. be renewed from date of expiration, October 23,1902, for one year at the same premium as last year, viz: $150.
The vote upon the above was, as follows:-
Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea.
Application to Contribute to 2$ Fund.
Applications were received from Officer Leo J.Steinemann, Southwestern District, and Officer Robert T.Porter, Central Dis triet, asking permission to contribute 2% of their salaries to the Special Fund in order to become eligible for retirement under the provisions of existing law.
It was ordered that the said applications be granted.
