| Transfers. Upon the recommendation of Captain John A.G.Shultz, H.W. District, concurred in by the Marshal, it was ordered that Officer Thomas Clark be transferred from MBM to "C" Division; vice George S.Escavaille, deceased. It was also ordered that Officer .George E.Oelmann, Southern District, now acting as Houseman, be transferred from house to street duty and assigned to "B" Division, And that Officer William S.Powell of "B" Division be transferred from street to house duty, vice George E.Oelmann; said transfer to take effect immediately. Application of Detective Harry M.Hammersla for Counsel Fee. Charges Maryland Anti-Saloon League. A communication was received from Detective Harry M.Hammersla enclosing communication from Harry B.Wolf, attorney-at-law, together with bill rendered by Mr. Wolf to Detective Hammersla, $250. for professional services in connection with the charges formulated against Detective Hammersla by the Anti-Saloon League, as referred to in the proceedings of December 3, 1902, the said letter from Detective Hammersla requesting that the Board settle the bill rendered him by Mr. Wolf. The Board declined to pay the bill mentioned upon the ground first, that it had not authorized employment of counsel by Detective Hammersla, and second, that the charges preferred against the said detective by the Anti-Saloon League had not and would not be heard; the Anti-Saloon League having withdrawn the said charges referred to in the proceedings of December 3, 1902. Contract for Uniform Clothing, Contract was entered into by unanimous vote between the Board and Rosenfeld Brothers, commonly known as the New York Clothing House, for furnishing police uniform garments for one year from January lt 1903, upon the same terms and conditions and at the same prices as at present obtaining, and as set forth in agreement now in force.
