Iila ry land Telephone for Detective's Office. Upon the requisition of Captain of Detectives, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that a Maryland Telephone be installed in the Detective's Office. The vote upon the installation of Maryland telephone in Detective's Office, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur,........Yea, Commissioner Morris,.....Yea, Commissioner Fowler,.....Yea. (See recommendation filed as Exhibit No.902. -) Hew Buggy for Use Of Captain Northern District. Upon the recommendation of the Lieutenant of Mounted Police it v/as ordered that there be purchased a new buggy from Mess. Paethe & Dietz, for the use of the captain of the Northern District, at a cost of $175.00, or *200.00 less $25.00 for old buggy in exchange. The vote upon the purchase of buggy, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur,.......Yea, Commissioner Morris,....Yea, Commissioner Fowler,....Yea. (See recommendation filed as Exhibit No.903.) Case of Maryland Anti-Saloon League. vs. Capt. A.J.Pumphrey. Expenses of Trial of said Charges. The Board, by the vote as given below, passed the following named bills incurred in connection with the trial of Captain of Detectives A.J.Pumphrey upon charges preferred against him by the Maryland Anti-Saloon League, as referred to in the proceedings of November 21,1902, and that said bills be included in the next requisition on the Mayor & City Council for payment.
