| OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimore. Friday, January 16tht19Q5. Board met, present,Messrs Upshur,Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting. Wednesday, January 14th,1903, were read,approved and adopted. Trials. Officer John J. Rupprecht, Central District,was tried upon the charge of having been under the influence of liquor while on active duty,3.35 A.M., January 15th,1903, found guilty thereof and fined Twenty Dollars and warned. Officer Frederick Isaacson, Eastern District, was tried upon the charge of having been twenty five minutes behind his squad coming in off duty,4.20 A.!:., January 16th,1903;found guilty of the said charge and fined Five Dollars and warned. The Poor. Donation of stockings for,-Northeastern District. A report,as follows, was received from Captain Charles W, Gittings, Northeastern District, through the hands of the Marshal;- January 14th,1903. Thomas F. Fa man, Marshal. Sir:- V.'e received to-day from C.Frank and Son,941 North Gay street, about 500 pairs of assorted stockings to be distributed to the poor of this district. V.'e are holding the goods for instructions from the Board of Police Commissioners as to disposition. Respectfully, Chas.W.Gittings, Captain. It was ordered that the stockings above referred to be turned over to the Association for the Improvement of the Condition of the Poor, in accordance with the order passed by the Board December 18th,1900. Requisition. REQUISITION No.642 was drawn on the I'ayor and City Council for §38,075,08, to pay the police force for two weeks, from January 1st,1903, to January 14, 1903, together with sundry bills. |
