Captain Thorns Barranger had failed to report at the Central District for duty on Primary Election Dap, April 7, 1903, although he had been notified to do so.
It was ordered that the said report be returned to the Marshal for investigation and report.
Donation.
There were received from the Marshal without his recommendation $10. which had been given to Detectives Mark Hagan and R. H. Thomas by William H.Brown of New York, for the arrest of his son William Brown.
It was ordered that the money referred to be returned to the Marshal with directions that he will investigate the circumstances of this donation, and report with any recommendation he may have to make in the premises.
Donation.
Upon the recommendation of the Marshal it was ordered that Round Sergeant Edward J. Dillon be permitted to retain Twenty Dollars, donated to him by the United States Government for the arrest of Joseph MacKessy, a deserter from the United States Navy.
