The Sunday school of Timonium M. B. Church on last Sunday elected officers for the ensuing year as follows: Superintendent, Mr. Shadrack Ensor; assistant superintendent, Mrs. €. H. Pritchett; secretary, Mr. Harry Pish-paugh; treasurer, Mr. Harry E. Rowe; librarian, Mr. Prank L. Rowe; organist, Miss Esta Simpson; assistant, Miss Anna M. Barrett. Sunday school meets at 2 P. M. Everybody welcome.
The Ladies' Aid Society of Timonium M. E. Church met on last Wednesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Owens.
, Mr. Taylor, employed by Dr. D, Gor-such, is now occupying the house vacated by Mr. Heilmann.
Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Pierce and son, Walter, Mr. and Mrs. Leolon Brown and daughters, Dorothea and Charlotte, and Mr. Charles Kenney, all of Phoenix, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Simpson on last Sunday.
Misses Esta and Bertha Simpson spent last Wednesday night with Mr. and Mrs. Issiah Guyton, at their home in Govans.
Preparations are being made for the erection of a dwelling house on the lot owned by Mrs. Lulu Powble, at this place.
Mr. Granville Simpson and son, Albert, were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Simpson on last Tuesday.
Miss Loretta Fishpaugh and Earl Riley, of Cockeysville, and Mr. Charles Kenney, of Phoenix( were guests of Misses Esta and Bertha Simpson on Thursday evening. They all spent a pleasant evening on the ice skating. The census man was in this neighborhood the past week and if Uncle Sam does not get all the information desired it will not be from trie lack of questions fired at each person. About the only questions not asked, was the age of the house cat and the age of each chicken on the place. Some of the questions asked were rather amusing.

Misses Ora Francis and Cornelia Smith, of Towson, spent several days of last week with Miss Eleanor Price.
Mr. William Richardson, of New York, spent the holidays with friends and relatives on the Manor.
Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Wood were among the guests at the New Year's dinner given by the latter's uncle, William Parks.
Messrs. Eli and Norman Wood met with quite an accident last week, when their Ford skidded on the slippery road, ran up a bank and overturned with them. The machine was broken, but the occupants escaped with a few bruises.
Mrs. W. Ledford has been indisposed for several days, but is much improved.
Miss Virginia Brauer has returned I home after spending some time with' her grandmother in Baltimore. -------------o-------------¦

Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Fowble spent several days last week in Baltimore.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kemp and children visited Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Zeig-man on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Carr held a family reunion on New Year's Day.
Miss Elizabeth Hoffman was the guest of Miss Mamie Alban on Friday. ----------o----------

Mrs. Prank Goettner and children, Helen and Christian, have returned from a visit to relatives in Philadelphia.
Sergeant Fred. B. Carroll, of the U. S. Cavalry, stationed at Cheyenne, Wyoming, is visiting relatives here. He reports the weather there as 42 degrees below zero.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fitzell entertained their relatives from* Sparrows Point at dinner on Wednesday.
Frank M. Gorsuch, Jr., has resumed his studies at Pennsylvania Military College, at Chester.
Miss George Allen Hutton, of Baltimore, who is visiting her sister, Mrs. L. L. Dilworth, has just recovered from an attack of gastritis.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Sheppard entertained at family dinner on Sunday.
Mr. Arthur Buckingham is on the sick list.
The farmers are busily engaged in harvesting 8-inch ice.
Mr. Harvey Warner has sold his place at Bradshaw, and he and his family will return to their former home in Oklahoma.
JACKSONVILLE.
Miss Anna Butts has returned to her home in Frederick City, after spending some time with her aunt, Mrs. Paul Zinkhan.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hannibal and sons spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Daub, of Govans.
Mr. Louis Zinkhan held a shooting match last week which was largely attended.
Miss Anna Zinkhan, who spent a few days in Baltimore, with her cousin, Miss Anna Melvin, has returned to her home.
Rev. J. N. Hauser was greatly surprised Sunday when the congregation of the Reformed Church gave him a Christmas purse.

Mrs. George Nash and son, Edward, and Miss Lucy Luray Nash, spent last Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Harry Armacost.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Armacost gave a party last Wednesday night in honor of their daughter Ray's twenty-first birthday, at the home of her grandfather, Mr. Henry Martin, of Trenton. Quite a large number of her friends were present and all spent a very enjoyable evening.
Miss Luray Nash is spending several days with Mrs. Archibald Kemp. (Continued on Page 3.)

Mr. Emory Alban, a native of this place, who breathed his last on New Year's morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Jacob Hale, after a short attack of paralysis, was buried here on Saturday morning. The sermon was preached by Rev. Derr, from a passage of the scripture selected by the deceased. Mr. Emory is survived by several sisters and brothers.
The Ladies' Aid Society met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Miller on Friday night.
Miss Mabel Stifler has returned after visiting Miss Florence Miller.
