NOTICES. •DALTIMOKE COUNTY TAX LEVY Office of the County Commissioners } of Baltimore County, > TOWSON, Md., April 14th. 1920. 1 "We, the County Commissioners of Baltimore County, having met as required by law for the purpose of making the annual levy for the ensuing period of eight months to conform with the law changing the fiscal year of the county to end December 31, 1920, and providing for all the expenses and disbursements of said county for said period, do now order and publish as follows: 1st. We do hereby levy and impose an assessment ortax of * .36 31-72 on every $100 worth of assessable property in Baltimore county as a State tax, being $312,531.70 upon a basis of $85,788,345. 2d. We do hereby levy and impose an assessment or tax of $1.13 on every $100 worth of assessable property in Baltimore county as a county tax, being $1,015,315 upon the following classes of property, viz : real, fixed, personal and mixed property, (including distilled spirits In bond,) and stocks of Maryland Corporations, (except Bank stocks) being $7,000,000, of a total basis of $89,850,920, and a tax of 66X of 1 per cent, upon the assessed valuation of the shares of all Bank Stocks taxable in Baltimore County, being $26,665.00 on a total estimated basis of $4,000,000. 3d. We do hereby levy and impose an assessment or tax of fifteen (15) cents on every $100 as a State tax upon all Bonds, certificates of indebtedness, or evidences of debt, in whatsoever form, issued by any State or other than the State of Maryland, or made or issued by any public or private corporation incorporated by any such State, or in any foreign country and owned by residents of Baltimore county, including as such owners any resident of said county, who has an equitable interest in such property, with the legal title to the same in some other, or corporation who is a resident of some county in this State, or who is a resident of the city of Baltimore, said tax of fifteen cents on the $100 amounting to $29,675.95 upon a basis of $33,-117,300. 4th. We do hereby levy and impose an assessment or tax of twenty cents on every $100, as a County Tax upon all Bonds, certificates of indebtedness or evidences of debt in whatsoever form, issued by aay State, or other than the State of Marjland, or made or issued by any public or private corporation, incorporated by any such State or any foreign Country and owned by residents of Baltimore County, including as such owners, any resident of said County who has an equitable interest in such property with the legal title to the same in some other, or corporation who is a resident of some County of this State, or who is a resident of the City of Baltimore, said tax of twenty cents on the S100 amounting to |66,235 upon a basis of $33,117 300. 5th. We do hereby further ievy and impose an additional assessment or Special Tax at the rate of Ten (10) cents on every $100 worth of assessable property within the limits of the Twelfth District of Baltimore County, as described in Chapter 442 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session, 1910, excepting therefrom such portions ol said district »s were annexed by Chapter S2 of the Acts of 1918 to Baltimore City, for the purposes set set forth in said Act of 1910. 6th. We do hereby further levy and impose an additional assessment or Special Tax at the rate of Twenty (20) cents ou every $100 worth of assessable property within the limits of the villages of Lansdowne and Joshua in Baltimore county, as described in Chapter 657 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session, 1908, for the purposes set forth in said Act. 7th. We do hereby further levy and impose an additional assessment or Special Tax at the rate of Ten (10) cents on every $100 worth of assessable property within the limits of the village of Towson in Baltimore County, as described in Chapter 861 ot the Acta of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session o^ 1914, for the purposes set forth in said Act. 8th. We do hereoy further levy and impose an additional assessment or Special Tax at the rate of Ten (10) cents on every $100 worth of assessable real ebtate within the limits of the village of Lutberville, as described in Chapter ot the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session of 1920, for the purposes set forth in 9th. We do herebj appropriate the following amounts for the purpose of paying the expenses of Baltimore County for the ensuing eight months, to December 3lst, 1920, to wit : APPROPRIATIONS.
