THE JEFFERSONIAN, TOWSON, MARYLAND. June 19, 1920—Page 9 LOCAL CORRESPONDENCE CiLYXDOW This evening an entertainment will he held in Red Men's Hall for the benefit of the Salvation Army. The affair is in charge of the Woman's Club of Olyndon. Entertainment week of the Franklin High School will begin tomorrow, when Dr. Don S. Colt will deliver the baccalaureate sermon at Emory Grove. Tuesday evening will be a community celebration at the school. Class night will be on Wednesday. The commencement exercises will be on Thursday and Friday will be "community day," and will take place at the school. That night the Alumni will .meet. ROCKLAND. Miss Margaret Seipp, daughter of Mr. ;and Mrs. James Seipp, and Mr. Stanley Mash, of Mt. Washington, were married on June 10th. Mr. and Mrs. Mash :are spending a few days at Niagara Falls. Mi^s Clara Andrew, daughter of Mr. S. C. Andrew, and Mr. Ernest Day, of Mt. Washington, were married Thursday at 3 o'clock at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs,. Ernest Wilhelm, of Roland Park. Mr. and Mrs. Day motored to Braddock Heights, where they will spend a few days. ------1----------o---------------- REISTERSTOWN. Mrs. Alice Pardells was one of the party of 150 leaving Baltimore last Tuesday for a trip on the Western 'Coast. Rev. Heavner and Miss Wilsox were married in Baltimore on Wednesday. They will reside at Glyndon, where the Rev. Heavner is pastor. We wisih them a world of happiness. Mrs. Curtiss Blake, of Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Mr. C. C. Speed, is visiting her father at Glyndon. Lightning struck the home of Mr. Frank Lea last Friday, tearing off half the roof. Mrs. Leon Gise is very ill at the Md. Sparks Agricultura-1 High School will hold its' commencement exercises on the school grounds on Thursday, June 24, at 4 o'clock. PHOENIX. Miss Jennie Barrick, of Frederick, has been visiting her aunt, Mrs. W. J. Stover. ' The Women's Auxiliary of Frazier P. E. Church was entertained on Thursday evening at the home of Mrs, H. E. Shelley, at Corbett. The Misses Katherine and Amelia Krout, and Mr. Carroll Edward Zulauf are members of the graduating class of the Towslpn High School. Mss Mary Myers and Miss Nellie Peltzer. of Boring, visited the former's sister, Mrs. Jane Gill one evening the past week. Mrs. Clara Brown and daughters, Misses Grace and Anna, were guests of Mrs. Elizabeth Bohn on Sunday. The object of this suit is to procure a divorce a Vinculo Matrimonii and the care and custody of the minor child, William Walter Allen, by the plaintiff from the defendant. The bill states that the parties were married on the 28th day of February, 1917, and that they resided together until the 3rd day of April, 1917. That the plaintiff has been a resident of the State of Maryland for more than two years next preceeding the filing of her bill of complaint, while the defendant, Glenn Phillip Allen, is a non-resident of the State of Maryland and was last heard from in Reno, Vanango County, Pennsylvania. That there is one child as issue of said marriage, William Walter Allen, aged three years. That though the conduct #f your or-atrix toward her husband, the saia Glenn Phillip Allen, has always been kind, chaste and above reproach, he, the said Glenn Phillip Allen has, without cause or reason abandoned and deserted her and has declared his intention to live with her no longer; that said abandonment has continued uninterruptedly for at least three years; is deliberate and final, and the separation of the parties beyond any reasonable hope of reconciliation.
