Mrs. Mag-gie Neal, of Baltimore, is spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hunt.
Missips Elsie and Mary Friend, of Baltimore, who spent the pasit week with their friend, Miss Gladys Krout, have returned home.
Miss Ethel Hendrix and brother, of Ruhl, have returned home after a week's visit to the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrsi John W. Hendrix.
Mr. Joseph Matthews and daughter, of Mount Washington, spent the week end with his brother-in-law, Mr. Wm. H. Taylor.
Mr. O. W. Hendrix, while driving home from New Market one night last week came in contact with a black snake. After a severe battle he succeeded in killing it. It measured four feet long.
Mr. and Mrs. John Gostnell celebrated their Fourth of July reunion together on thair farm one mile from Maryland Line. They were, surprised by a reunion that had been planned by their children, this being the first time the whole family have been together for seven years. It was a great day for "all. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. John Gosnell, Mr. Robert Baily and family, of New Freedom, Pa.; Mr. Wm. Street and family, of Baltimore; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gosnell, of Washington, D.
