We notice that the Eklo Supply Co. has installed electric lights and also remodeled their dwelling, which at present not only presents a very beautiful appearance, but adds much to the comfort of those who have the housekeeping in charge. Mr. J. M. Hoshall, of Pleasant Hill, had the heaviest yield of wheat in that section, about 40 bushels per acre. Mr. William Whipperman has undertaken to supply Mr. James Lowe, a paper maker near this place, with the raw material and also with fuel to now staying with her mother. Yester-terday she and her two sons. Vernon and Charles, left for Ohio, where they will join her husband, who is engaged in the automobile business. Mr. D. H. Warfel and family have moved from Garrisjon and are now living on Seven Mile Lane, back of Pik-sville. Mr. Arrington and family, formerly of vVoodberxy, have rented the house formerly occupied by Mrs. W. Armacost, of Garrison. The Southern Methodist Church, cor ner Slade avenue and Reisterstown road, Pikesville, has been holding a ten day revival service. A church club has been organized at St. Thomas' Church, and it is planned to give a minstrel show in the near future. MT. ETNA. Popplein, of West Virginia, has been visiting his mother, Mrs. M. C. Popplein. A card party was given on Thursdav evening for the benefit of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon. Mr. and Mrs. L. Reese have closed their home and will spend the winter months in Baltimore. There was a large gathering of members and several visitors at the Aid Society entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Benson, at Berean, on Thursday evening of last we<=>k. The Society decided to hold an oyster supper in Heptasoph Hall on the evenings of November 12 and 13. After the business meeting had been transacted refreshments were served. The teacher and pupils of the public school held a Halloween masquerade party at the school housie last Satur- i day evening. Prizes were given. Miss Lizzie Litsinger, an aged resident of this place, died on Thursday of last week and was buried on Sunday morning at the M. E. Cemetery. A little surprise was given Hereford about two weeks ago when Miss He'en Hicks and Mr. Hayes Domer, of Baltimore, were quietly married at Elli-cott City. Mr. and Mrs. Domer expect to reside in Baltimore. The Ladies' Aid Society of the Baptist Church will hold an oyster supper on November 27, so get ready for a good aupper. PARKTON. Church will hold its Sunday School rally tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. At 8 P. M. the Epworth League will visit the Ep-worth League of Liberty M. E. Church. FORK. The rally day service held last Sunday by Fork M. E. Sunday School was well attended. Dr. John S. Green delivered the address' of the morning. He tried to impress upon the parents their great responsibility in bringing their children to Sunday School and thus form adult Bible classes. If everyone present only took the doctor's message as, given the Sunday School would be greatly improved. Arrangements are being made with the members of Perry Hall Church for them to give a play in Shirley Hall on Saturday evening, November 27, entitled "The Minister's Wifes New Bonnet."
