THE JEFFERSONIAN, TOWSON, MARYLAND REGISTRATION OVER NOW FOR TWO YEARS-FEW ADDITIONAL NAMES ADDED TO LISTS Not Many On "Suspect" List As Compared With Former Years-Democrats Have Advantage In Number Placed Upon Poll Books. The last day of registration was held in Baltimore county, and but little interest was shown in it by voters of either party, though efforts were made by the Democrats to get many qualified to come out and register. The Democrats by far had the advantage though not so much as would have been had the election been a local one. The last day's sitting this week was particularly busy because of the many who delayed registering until the last few hours, in spite of the automobiles provided to bring them in and return them to their homes. Just before the closing hour last Tuesday aevening, when it was too late to send out for the delinquents, the workers of both political parties filed with the registers lists containing the names of persons suspected of being unlawfully registered as voters. It is estimated that throughout the county over 150 voters have been put on these lists. There was not a precinct in which neither side filed a list, and in some of the precincts from 20 to 50 names are on both lists. The workers have been busy preparing lists for weeks and each side expects to have a number of names stricken from the book at the revision held this week. • The Republicaans have noted many Democrats, some few of whom are known to have been continuously in the county for several years, but RATS FLEAS MICE -ROACHES BED BUGS AND OTHER VERMIN EXTERMINATED Results Guaranteed PLAZA 0498 Royal Disinfecting Company 506-506 Light St. Baltimore, Md, c~:~:~:~X"XK"X"K~x~:~:~^^^ 1 V i WILLYS-KNIGHT MOTOR The Famous Sleeve Valve Motor Improves With Use. Indeed, the Republican managers have been reckless in their effort to get off as many white voters as pos«-sible, with the hope that each Democrat sworn off means one less vote against them. When the lists were filed the registers, under the law, organized as a board of revision. This board sent a notice to every person on the suspected list to appear before the board ta show why his name should hot be stricken from the books. TO MAKE ADDRESSES IN VARIOUS SECTIONS OP COUNTY.
