Mr. Fendley placed the body in a basket, covering it so as to be secure; then he notified county police-stationed at Dundalk, who in turn summoned Coroner Edward J. Hermann. After conducting a thorough investigation, the coroner gave a certificate of death due to premature birth. Nothing could be ascertained as to how or by whom he child was left in the isolated spot where it was found. The theory advanced by the police is that it was thrown out of a boat and washed ashore, as indications pointed to the fact that the little body was not in the water over a day or two. MEANS TO CORRECT DRAINAGE. Recommendations to correct drainage conditions in Ralston and th southern portion of Pikesville were made at a meeting of the Pikesville Improvement Association. The re opening of drains on property of the Suburban Club will be suggested Representatives of the Suburban Club, the United Railways, the State Roads Commission and the Baltimore County Commissioners) were invited to attend the meeting which was held in the Pikesville! School. A joint committee of members from the association and Suburban Club visited the course of a stream which last winter overflowed and flooded southern Pikesville. The committee agreed that newly laid pipes on the club property were not sufficient to carry off the water, Raymond A. Duke, president of the association, said. Several years ago the water was carried off through an open stream over the golf links of the club. When the links were improved the water was piped. The beginning of the pipe line is above the level of some areas which it is supposed to drain, members of the association said. The association plans to provide some inexpensive form of relief from small floods. At the meeting a resolution was presented asking the County Commissioners to give the community relief in its drainage problem as soon as possible, under provisions of the Metropolitan District bill, enacted at the last Legislature. A proposal that Baltimore county establish an emergency hospital in the northwest suburbs was discussed at the meeting. It was suggested that part of the grounds of the Confederate Soldiers' Home at Pikesville be considered for a site. Once more death has claimed a member of our board, this time the youngest in point of service, Ex-Senator JAMES J. LINDSAY, who died on Wednesday morning, November 26th. Mr. Lindsay was in his customary seat in the board room apparently in his usual health and spirits only "four weeks before that date; so that his death was entirely unexpected^BJnd came to us with shocking suddeJEss. We found Mr. Lindsay to ring trtfe in every relation of life. He was faithful to his church; was an affectionate husband and father; a kind and unselfish neighbor; a true and loyal friend; a progressive and patriotic citizen; a lawyer with splendid attainment; a wise counsellor and an excellent business man. As a member of this board he was always interested in the growth and success of the bank and took an active part in everything relating to its welfare. We were all fond of him and found him a most helpful and congenial associate and we will miss him. And in order that this expression of the board may be preserved it is hereby made a minute of the proceedings of the board, and a copy ordered to be sent to the family of Mr. Lindsay that they may also know in what esteem he was held by his associates. Nov. 22-29—Dec. 6-13. Elmer R. Haile, Attorney-at-Law, Towson, Md. ORDER OF PDHLICATION PERLA L. McMASTER vs. WARREN S. SEIPP, Et Al. IN THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR BALTIMORE COUNTY IN EQUITY. The object of this suit is to procure a decree for the sale of certain real estate in Baltimore County, State of Maryland, of which Clarence W. Mc-Master died seized and possessed. The Bill states that the said Clarence W. McMaster inherited from his father, Adam McMaster, two lots of ground situated in Towson, Baltimore County, one having a frontage of 44 feet 6 inches and the other a frontage of 80 feet on the South side of Al-leghany Avenue, both with a dept of 150 feet, the former being improved by a double dwelling now known as Nos. 31 and 33 Alleghany Avenue and the, latter being improved by a single house now known as 29 Alleghany avenue. That the said Clarence W. McMaster, by his Will dated September 9, 1901 and duly probated and recorded among the Wills Records of Baltimore County in Liber J. E. B. No. 14, folio 118, etc., in effect devised the aforesaid real estate to the Plaintiff for life, with power of disposition should she remain his widow, or in the event of her marriage, upon her death to Warren S. Seipp, certified copies of the-title deeds to said real estate and of said Will being filed as exhibits with the Bill of Complaint. Averment is made that the income now derived from said real estate by the Plaintiff is insufficient to provide for the up-keep thereof, she having recently been obliged to make an outlay of more than $1000.00 for necessary improvements, and she says that it would be to her interest and advantage, as life tenant, as well as to the interest and advantage of the contingent remaindermen, to have said real estate sold under a decree of Court and the proceeds invested or distributed in accordance with the Will of the said Clarence W. McMaster. The Bill further states that the Plaintiff now has an opportunity of making an advantageous sale of the lot and double house first above mentioned to J. Howard Murray for the price of $6,000.00. Averment is made that the said Clarence W. McMaster left no surviving children or descendants, nor brothers and sisters or their descendants, and the only persons who could possibly become interested in the distribution of his estate in the event that his widow should .die, without having remarried and without having disposed of said property, consist of the following collateral heirs at law: A—The unknown heirs of Clarence W. McMaster on the part of his father, Adam McMaster, consisting of three half sisters and one half brother of the said Adam McMaster, whose names and whereabouts are to the Plaintiff unknown. B—And the following heirs on the part of the Mother of said Clarence W. McMaster, viz: Josephine Camp, Violetta Carpenter and Percy Carpenter, her husband; John Shrum. William Shrum and Frances Shrum, his wife; May Baer and her husband; Charles Unkle and his wife: Spencer Unkle, Luther Unkle, Benjamin Unkle and his wife; Alice Unkle, Emma Unkle and her husband; Clara V. Curtis, Mary A. Scott, Mary Weidler, John Weidler and Nelia Weidler, his wife; George Weidler and Cora Weidler, his wife; Frank Weidler and Mary Weidler, his wife. Averment is made that all of the aforesaid heirs are adults and nonresidents of the State of Maryland except Josephine Camp, who resides in Baltimore City, Maryland. The specific relief prayed for in =?aid Bill is that the real estate of the said Clarence W. McMaster be decreed to be sold and that a Trustee be ap-poinred for that purpose; that the aforesaid Contract of Sale to J. Howard Murray be consummated; that the proc
