Pearson, of Butler, has been confined to bed with an attack of grippe. Miss L. Irene Maben, of Baltimore city, and Mr. James W. Bollinger, of Reisterstown, were married. Mrs. Lottie Wilson, of Walkers, had as her recent guest Miss Ella Ports, of Baltimore city. Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Fitchett, of Glen Arm, are receiving congratulations upon the birth of a son. Mr. Alfred Freeland, of Walkers, is now occupying the home he recently purchased at Parkton. The stork visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Darney at Kingsville, leaving a bouncing baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. J. Albert Price, of Jacksonville, had as their recent guest Mrs. Victorine W. Kelley. After spending some time with relatives at Kingsville, Mr. Felix Fleury returned to Washington. Mr. David DeGruchy met with an accident while working on an artesian well at the Perry Hall School. Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Phipps, of Towson, have registered at the Tourists' Information Bureau, Florida. Judge John T. Cockey of the Orphans' Court, was confined to his Towsorf-home this week with an attack of indigestion. Mr. George L. Skinner, of Baltimore city, took as his bride Miss Nettie M. Hildebrandt, of Chesaco Park. Mr. Sylvester Amspacher and Miss Naomi Sloat, both cf York, came to Towson this week, where they were joined in wedlock. Mr,, John E. Watson, of St. Helena and Miss Mary V. Brushwiller, of Sparrows Point, embarked upon "the sea of matrimony" recently. Mr. and Mrs. William G. Parks, of Timonium, entertained members of the Ladies' Aid Society of Ep-worth M. E. Church. Arthur Wiley, son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Wiley, of White Hall, has secured a position with the Gas & Electric Company. Mr. Alexander D. Brooks, cashier of the National Bank of Cockeys ville, rounded out 25 years of service with that institution recently. The Brotherhood and Ladies' Aid Society of St John's Lutheran Church, Parkville, gave Rev. Mr. Weipking and wife a pantry shower. Mrs. J. Charles Raspe, of Raspe-burg, who underwent a very serious operation at a Baltimore city hospital, is now at her home convalescing. Mr. C. C. Slade, of White Hall, who is now at the Church Home and Infirmary, Baltimore city, for rest and treatment, is somewhat improved. Mrs. John Blowers, formerly Miss Annie Glick, of Hernwood, returned recently to her Reisterstown home following treatment at a Baltimore city hospital. Mr. Frank E. Fotradis, of Clifton Forge, Va., and Miss Deasmo G. Tasopulu, of Annapolis, wended their way to Towson, where they were quietly married by one of our clergymen. Ex-County Commissioner Wm. P. Bosley and his wife; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Elliott, County Treasurer and Mrs. Thomas C.
