The petition states that the petitioners are residents of Baltimore County, in the State of Maryland; that they procured the said child from Mrs. F. R. Heaton; that said child will be one year old on June 7, 1924; that the names and whereabouts of the parents of the said child are unknown; that peteitioners since they received the said child have kept him and cared for him; that the child has no guardian and no property, and that they desire to adopt him as their own under the provisions of Chapter 244 of the Acts of 1892 of the Laws of Maryland.
