At the same time a separate suit was filed by the same plaintiff against Julius Fritz, containing the same averments and claiming the same amount in damages. ---------o--------- OYSTER ROAST TOMORROW. (Special to The Jeffersonian) John A. Bushnell, of Columbus, Ohio, active in the Protective Committees of Dollings stockholders, is-used a statement scoring the opponents of the United Stockholders Organization for alleged piratical motives, which will be of interest to hundreds in Baltimore county, who invested in the R. L. Dollings Company securities. "The Dollings receiverships," said Mr. Bushnell, "involve properties and assets valued at some fifty millions of dollars. These assets offer a rich prize for the plunderers, vultures RETURNS TO HOME IN PRINCE FREDERICK. Mrs. Wm. ' A follow-up public meeting on the Beaver Dam Crossing matter will be held by the Cockeysville Improvement Association on Thursday evening, April 3rd, at 8 o'clock in Firemen's Hall. While a large crowd was present at the last meeting there was some disappointment at the absence of a Pennsylvania Railroad representative to explain the road's intentions. Supt. George M. Smith has promised to be present himself at this coming meeting. ---------o--------- YOUNGSTER HAS SCARLET FEVER. These properties rightfully belong to the stockholders with whose money they were secured; and it is necessary for these stockholders to organize and cooperate as a unit in order to protect their properties." "The dissolution of these concerns means the forced sales of such assets, under the hammer. It means the sales of valuable properties at bargain counter prices—perhaps at a few cents on the dollar of their real values—leaving little or nothing for preferred stockholders, after current debts are paid. In the face of these conditions it is certainly the sane and obviously business-like procedure for the real owners—the stockholders—to organise themselves for their own protection, with the purpose of holding these companies intact and rebuilding them on a basis which offers the chance of realizing substantial values for their investments." "We hear the Teapot Dome scandal on every side," he continued. "In my opinion, a conspiracy is go- ing to be uncovered in connection with the Dollings wreck that will make these stockholders boil with personal indignation, shoufd it be allowed to succeed. I firmly believe that this conspiracy will involve certain well-known politicians, officials and financial figurees in both Ohio and Indiana." "We always find," Bushnell added, "that those individuals who are active in opposing the organization and operation of the United Protective Committees, are doing so with a motive. That motive is usually not hard to determine. The stockholders' organization is a big obstacle to plunderers. Too many men of respectable appearances are only pirates at heart." Mr. Bushnell refused to discuss the identity of the alleged spoilers. "If you want advance information along that line" Bushnell remarked, "watch the individuals fighting this Stockholders' Organization." FOR PLASTERING & CEMENT ' WORK OF THE BETTER KIND SEE W. R.
