The will of Summerfield Baldwin, founder and operator of the Warren Mills at Warren, this county, was filed for. probate in the Orphans' Court at Towson.
Dated November 29, 1918, /and; codical July 26th, 1923, it makes bequests as follows:
Twenty thousand dollars to the Anne Arundel County Academy at Arundel, Md., on condition that a fund of not less than $100,000 is raised within two years.
Twenty thousand dollars in trust for the life of his brother, Rev. Chas. W. Baldwin and wife, and to the survivor of them. A like amount in trust for the benefit of his niece Maria Baldwin for her life.
Ten thousand dollars to the Methodist Preachers' Aid Society of Baltimore.
Five thousand dollars each to the Eutaw Street M. E. Church, Madison Avenue M. E. Chuch, Maryland General Hospital, Morgan College, Kelso Orphan Asylum, Home of the Aged of the M. E. Church, City Missionary and Church Extension Society of the M. E. Church, Womens Foreign Missionary Society of the M. E. Church, Maryland State Sunday School Association, Deaconess Home of the M. E. Church, all of Baltimore City, and American University of Washington, D. C, and Board of Foreign Missions of the M. E. Church, of New York.
Five thousand dollars to each of his daughters-in-law.
Two thousand dollars to the Baldwin Memorial M. E. Church at Severn Cross Roads, Anne Arundel county, Md., the income to be used for the care of'the graveyard and supplying books for the use of the Sunday-school.
Two thousand dollars each to Mrs. Alice Cugle Thacker and Rev. R. W. H. Weech.
One thousand dollars each to his grandchildren and his nieces Mrs. Katherine M. Joyce, Miss Rosa E. Baldwin and Miss Elizabeth Baldwin Gantt, and to Richard S. Hodge, Robert Baldwin Weech, Mrs. E. Janie Tinges, Mr. Richard N. Brit-ton, Mr. Albert H. Anderson and J. H. Lomax.
Five hundred dollars to the John Wesley M. E. Church (Colored) Anne Arundel county.
One thousand dollars to Mrs. Martha Morris.
One hundred dollars each to the following: Julia Kilbreath, Laura Brown, Annie Howard, David Smith and Buchanon Johnson.
The household furniture and effects are not to be sold, but to bet distributed among his children, who are to receive the rest and residue of the estate. The principal of the estate is to be held for two years.
The executors and trustees are William Woodward Baldwin, Summerfield Baldwin, Jr., iCharles G. Baldwin, Willard A. Baldwin, Edw. N. Rich and James Garretson, who are given full discretion to distribute securities in lieu of cash to legatees, and to preserve the proportion of thef legacies to the total estate.

PETER FTTZPATRICK PASSES AWAY.
Peter Fitzpatrick, of White Hall, who had been ill for several months, passed away.
His remains were taken to Baltimore and services and burial were held in the city on Tuesday morning.

The funeral of Frederick Stutzka, of White Hall, was held from his late residence at Blue Mount on Tuesday afternoon.

HOME ECONOMICS CLUB ORGANIZED AT HOLBROOK.
A surprise was given Mrs. Elizabeth Burns, of White Hall, on Sunday last, it being her seventy-fifth birthday anniversary.
In the morning it was suggested that she visit her sick brother, Thos. Nelson, of Harford county, and the visit was purposely extended in order to give the home folks an opportunity to complete the arrangements for the surprise, and on her return she found all her children gathered at the house and a fine turkey dinner awaiting.
She was taken to her room where her bureau was decorated with a fine bureau scarf upon which rested a bureau set in ivory, a gold piece and handkerchiefs.
Outside of her immediate family those present were: Mrs. Ellen De-Moss, of Baltimore, a sister; her brothers, Wm. H. and James Nelson, and the Hershey family, of York. Mrs. Burns enjoys good health and is remarkably active.
SUPPER HELD AT RANDALLS-TOWN.
Under the auspices of the Ladies' Mite Society of the First Presbyterian Church, Randallstown, a chicken supper was served on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, the proceeds going toward the church building fund.
The social given on the evening of February 22nd by the Ladies' Aid Society of St. John's Church, Randallstown, netted $200.

With a membership of 33, the Hol-brook Home Economics Club was organized in Ward's Chapel uecture-room. Miss Mary Graham, home demonstration agent for Baltimore county, presided. Mrs. L. Jean Sell-man, of Harrisonville, was elected president and Mrs. Hubert H. Hark-er, secretary-treasurer of the club.
The membership is drawn from the upper part of the Second District, Harrisonville, Holbrook, Soldier's Delight, and North Branch being represented on the club's roster.
