THINNER GOWN with all-over steel embroidery on red and white chiffon. The red chiffon starts from one side of the white bodice and forms a wide band around the bottom of the skirt, while the fullness is drawn to one side and caught with a smart beaded ornament. The finishing touch to this Jay-Thorpe design is given by the steel cloth ornament with rhinestones. White Studio FOR EVENING WEAR. Made of dull gold metal material with a flat bow and sash of geranium velvet. The small uncurled ostrich fan is the latest thing from Paris, and a headdress of gold cloth studded with topaz and pearl completes this Jay-Thorpe costume. Whit.- Studio DON'T fcASP. ITS ONLY A WAX MODEL. To which Jim Brown, a beauty specialist for show window models in a Minneapolis store, is applying just enough rouge and powder to enable her to hold her own with the flappers of that up-to-date Minnesota city. Kadel and Herbert DANCE FROCK, in which the bodice is of chiffon with a charming design of self colored embroidery and Florentine val. lace, while the plaited skirt opens in many graceful points while dancing. The girdle of metal and silk in this Jay-Thorpe design is very attractive. White Studio SMART AND DISTINCTIVE is this simple crene de chine frock, shown in orchid, with the finest of pin-tucks trimming the otherwise straight and unbelted tunic. The severity is softened by the broken line of the hem, beneath which peep out Sjioecraft white kid slippers. Jay-Thorpe design. .'lute Studio
