The piggie boys squealed with delight. '-We'll make this hall as big as a house, Uncle Wiggily!" grunted Floppy. "Yes," said the bunny. "And when it gets a little larger I'll show you a trick. When 1 was a young rabbit I used to ride around on big snowball* like this. 1 think I can still do it. I'll try!" 3. With the help of the piggie boys, Uncle Wiggily scrambled up on top of the big snowball when it had been made large enough. "How do you ride them ?" grunted Curly. "Oh, I just walk along like this," Uncle Wiggily said, "and as I walk the ball rolls. J can walk frontwards or backwards. See how fast I can go!" While Uncle Wiggily was having such jolly fun on the big snowball, the.Fox, the Wolf and the Bear met in a lonely plage in the woods. "We can easily get that rabbit now," growled the Bear. "How?" asked the Fox. "Well," said the Bear, "you chase him from in front. If you don't g&t him, the Wolf can chase him from behind. If you both miss him I will catch him at tha bottom of the hill. Now let's go!" 5. All of a su^din? a* Uncle Wiggily was doing the circus trick of running on top of the big ball, Curly and Floppy cried out in fright. "What's thg matter?" asked the bunny gentleman. "The Fox is coming to nibble your ears!" grunted Floppy. "Shall I go after the Police Dog?" asked Curly. "No,'* said Uncle Wiggily, "leave the bad chap to me and the snowball. We'll fix him so he won't nibble any ears!' 6. "Who says 1 shan't nibble any ears?" howled the Po*, *'J do," answered the bunny with a laugh With that the rabbit began running backward on top of the snowball. This made the snowball roll forward and, before the Fox knew it he was caught under the big white ball and made as flat as a pancake. "Now let's see you nibble my ears!" chuckled tha bunny, The piggie boys squealed. The Fox howled. **'**** *-^\t *S!* fn "Did you eatch Uncle WWy?" howled the Wolf to the fm But the Fox didn't answer.
