WHEREAS an information hath been filed in the District Court of the United States in and for the district of Maryland, by John Ste- phen, esq attorney for the same, against a certain ship or vessel called the General Pinck- ney, her tackle, apparel and furniture, and her cargo, consisting of Coffee and Sugar ; pray- ing a condemnation of the same, according to law, for proceeding to St. Domingo contrary to the act of Congress in such cases made and provided. And whereas the honorable James Houston, judge of said Court, hath ordered and directed, Tuesday the 27th day of Janu- ary, instant, at 10 o'clock, in the forenoon of the same day for holding a district court, at the court-house, in the city of Baltimsre, for the trial • of the premises, agreeably to the prayer of said attorney.
