MllllCINI, SlJRGBrtY AND MIDWIFERY.
DOCTuH HAMILTON flatters himself
that h" is emit led to the confidence of the pub.

his profession for above twenty years, the
greater part of which time his residence was
in London, in the vicinity of St. Bartholomew's
hospital, where an intimate connexion wi'h the
gentlemen . f the faculty, to whose care it was
entrusted, afforded hiin very ample opportuni-
ties of making himself acquainted with the
progressive improvements which have taken
place both in medicine and in the perform-
ance of surgical operations.
Were he not anxious to ai id what might
perhaps by some be considers? us the boast fl-

bit of performing, during his residence in this

last seven years.
Thus much he has been induced to say of
himself from a conviction, that a medical man,
offering himself to the notice of the public,
shoald accompany a claim upon their confi-
i'e.,c. with the grounds upon which he founds
his pretensions.
