valuable property, called Huilter's Works, con-
sisting of a Manufacturing Mill, (late in the
occupancy of Messrs. Cooch and llolllngs-
worth) having two water wheels, with four

suitable for millers, coopers and blacksmiths.
At this place are the walls and remains of a
Forge and flitting Mill, formerly carried on,
the scites of which, and others on the same

edge of the Rappahannock, within two miles
of Fredericksburg and one of Falmouth j has
peculiar advantages of water, and is well situ-
ated for the purchase of wheat, now the sta-

The further drawing of the Lottery was
postponed to the 10th February next," when
it will be certainly resumed, at the same
place and hour: It will be continued with all
possible regularity and dispatch. The post-
ponement is made, that farther time may be
allowed, for the transmission1 of tickets not
yet returned from abroad, and that further op-
portunity may be afforded for the purchase of

A Valuable Farm for Sale.
Will be sold at public sale on Monday, the l&ih
day of March next, at 12 o'clock, on the pre-

ALL that tract, or parcel of LAND, lying-
near Creswell's Ferry, within sight of Havre
de Grace, in Ciecil county, state of Maryland,
called the Lucky Mistake ; containing 271
acres, more or less, with the improvement*
It bounds upon the Susquehannali river, and
embraces a good Shad and Herring Fishery.
The improvements are two dwelling houses,
one of stone, the other of logs, a fish-house,
and an apple orchard, together with peach St
cherry trees. The situation is remarkably
healthy and the water good. Herring-run
passes through one corner of this tract, on
which there was formerly erected a Saw-
Mill.
The terms of sale will be one-fourth of the
purchase money in cash, one-fourth in 6
months, one-fourth in 12 months, and the re-
sidue in 18 months, from the day of sale.
The purchaser or purchasers to give bonds
on interest, with approved security ; and on
payment of the whole, an indisputable title
will be given.

Three Dollars Reward.
RAN away on Wednesday, the 31st De-
cember last, an apprentice bov named JOHN
KENNEDY, between 18 and 19 years of age,
about 5 feet 4 inches high. The only clocthcs
he took with him were those he had on, which
were as follows, viz. blue cloth jacket and
trousers, striped waistcoat, coarse shoes and
stockings and fell hat. For the taking up and
delivering the said Kennedy to the subscriber,
the above reward will be given and all reasona-
ble charges paid.

100 Dollars Reward.
RAN away, on the 26th instant, from the
subscriber,living1 in Hush River neck) Harford
county, Maryland, two negro men, one named
BEN, about 35 years old, 6 feet high, strait
and well made, of a darkish complection ; high
nose ; has lost one of his upper fore-teeth;
generallywearshis wool platted orqueued, and
plays on the violin. The other, named 11 . K
BY, about 25 years of age, 6 f?et high, dark-
ish complection ; a remarkably hand, ->roe fel-
low, and when spoken to, has generally a plea-
sant countenance. The end of one of his lit-
tle lingers has been mashed by a piece of tim-
ber, the nail split, and the end of the finger
thereby rendered blunt: wears his wool gene-
nerally platted and turned up with a comb.
These negroes are brothers, and both very-
good sawyers, and are much accustomed to
he wing timber with the broad axe. Theircom-
mon working cloaths were, a short round-
aboutjacket, of coarse brown cloth, and lined
either with green or yellow baize, and shirts
and trousers of Russia sheeting, with good
felt hats. They probably took with them vari-
ous other cloaths, which cannot be described
The above reward will be given, for securing
the said negroes in any jail without the state of
Maryland, or fifty dollars for each. If taken
in Harford county, fifteen dollars, and if in any
other county within the state, thirty dollars
each, with all reasonable charges if brought
