" .Land flowing with mili unit honey," con- taining i lithe whole about. 2747 acres. A great proportion of this tract is in natural meadow, which is intersected by a number of small ri- vulets ; the remainder is heavily timbered, and well adapted to the raising of small grain. It lies about forty miles to thea< ,ut .h-west effort Cumberland, is on the waters of the. Great Youghoughany, and about 4 miles distant from the main road leading through Virginia to the -.- estern country. The same is divided into small enacts, comprising from 300 to 400 acres each, to suit purchasers. 2. " Good Hope." This tract lies contigu- ous to the " land flowing with milk and ho- ney," and contains 389 acres, 120 whereof are natural meadow, the residue is heavily timber- ed, and the certificate is described '• the first OttitT. land." 3. " Ciover Bottour'licK on the Little Cross- ings, about 3 miles south of Braddock's road, contain.! 132 acres of land, a part of which is -well calculated for meadow, the remainder is wcil timbered, and of the first quality. On this tract, there is a Grist and Saw mill, both of which might be put into good order, at a very small expence. The Grist mill is three stoics high, anil has an excellent pair of country stones ; there is also a wheel for a pair of Burrs. 4. "Cornucopia". This tract contains T100 ac-es, and is the residence of Mr. Dan. Gram The improvements are, a large and comfort*. ble dwelling-house, and an extensive barn with stabling underneath ; ?• young thriving orchard, and about 100 acres of cleared land wilder good fencing. Braddock's road passes hrongh said farm, which makes it an eli- gible stand lor a public house, being about twenty-two miles from Fort Cumberland. Few -is in Maryland, tlici same distance from 'Baltimore, are more valuable than this. It is of the first quality as to soil, heavily timbered, and nearly the one half of it well adapted to timothy meadow; the residue equally well adapted to the raising of wheat, rye, oats, &c. The one-fifth of the purchase money will be i..-jiiired in hand, the residue in five annual payments. Mr. Grant will show the above land to any person who should be inclined to pur. chase". JAMES P. The terms of sale will be one-fourth of the purchase, money in cash, one-fourth in 6 months, one-fourth in 12 months, and the re- sidue in 18 mouths, from the day of sale. Cooch and Hollings- worth) having two .water wheels, with four pair burr stones, and all necessary machineryj a valuable Grist Mill, Saw Mill, and Houses suitable for millers, coopers and blacksmiths. At this place are the walls and remains of a Forge, and Slitting Mill, formerly carried on, the scites of which, and others on the same eairtal, are excellent for water works of vari- ous kinds. This property is on tlv north edge of the P.appahannock, within two miles of Fredericksburg and one of Falmouth ; has peculiar advantages of water, and is well situ- ated for the purchase of wheat, now the sta- pie of the ceuntry, and of the last crop a large proportion yet to come to market. Also, A valuable Manufacturing Mili, with 2 -wa- ter wheels, two pair of stones, and the usual machinery, situated on the same edge of the river, within half a mile of Falmouth, having a convenient and comfortable milling house at- tached to it, and a canal which now affords wa- ter communication from Falmouth to the mill- door, and at the expence of '3 or [J400 may be extended to the doors of the forge mills. Or I would sell the. whole, of the above pro- perty, under stipulations, for the benefit of con- tiguous property, but no way injurious to this, and give credit 7 years, if necessary, for three fourths of the amount, and accommodating time for the other fourth. In pursuance of an order cf Washington county court, will be offered at public sate on the pre- mises, on the 16th oj March next, the real estate of Richard Cromwell, esquire, late of said county, deceased, unless disposed if at private sale in the mean time, of -which public notice will begivcit.— THIS valuable tract of land lies on Cor.eco- cheague creek, about seven miles from Ha- gers-town, contains upwards of thirteen hun- dred acres, and is at present occupied in four plantations. Number 1, the late residence of said Rich- ard Cromwell, deceased, contains about four hundred and fifty acres ; it has the advan . tage of a fine stream of water running thro' it, on which their is a Saw-mill erected—tha soil is productive, and tiiiere is 50 or 60 acres in meadow, and 150 acres or upwards still in timber The improvements and other ml van- stages of this farm are superior to most in the neighborhood, and for a stock farm it is surpas- sed by none in the county. Number 2, at present in tlfe occupation of Oliver Cromwell, and divided from the for- mer by Conococheague creek, contains 340' or 350 acres, the sod is productive, the im- provements neat and comfortable, and there is from 130 to 150 acres of it still in wood, which is covered with timber of a very stipe rior quality. Number 3, adjoining the first mentioned tract, at present in the occupation of Richard Cromwell, contains 250 acres or upward*; the soil is rich and productive, it is well tim- bered, and possesses the advantage of a never failing stream of water running through, it, cu which there is an excellent mill s<-at acliqroingf the public road from Mere.:rsburg to XV illiams- port, eight online miles from the latter plae« —The improvements are a dwelling- ho«se and stables.
