route for the produce of the Northern and
Western World, a facility of purchasing the
"wheat at the mid, and of sending the product
to market, is here experienced to an extent
•which no other situation can boast of. From
4-0 to 50,000 bushels of wheat has been manu-
factured annually between March and January,
and horn 60 to 70,000, could with equal ease
lie ground were the winter season excluded,
¦which of late years has been so mild that the
interruption of the navigation has seldom been
of long continuance.
The security and convenience of a sloop of
any burthen lving so contiguous to tae mill
that the elevators discharge the cargo where-
ver the Miller wishes to deposite it, and the
facility of loading the flour on board immedi-
ately from the Mill door, so materially dimi-
nishes laboi- and expedites business that one
vessel will be found sufficient to serve the fac-
tory, and perform more than two ordinarily
?Join such employ.
Also, a Tract of 1000 acres o* Land, situat-
ed about 60 chains from the above Mills, well
covered with timber, on which is an excellent
iron mine and through which the Buttermilk-
Ifall stream passes, affording several situations
or erecting of iron works.

county court, by petition in writing of George
Buchanan, of said county, praying the benefit
of the " act lor the relief of sundry insolvent
debtors," passed at November session, 1805,
on the terms mentioned in the said act ; a
schedule of his property and a lietof his- cre-
ditors, on oath, as far as he can ascertain them,
as directed by said act, being annexed to his
petition ; and the said county court being sa-
tisfied by competent testimony, that the said.
George Buchanan has resided the two pre-
ceding years within the state of Maryland,
prior to the passage of the said act ; and the
said George Buchanan at the time of present-
ing his petition as aforesaid, having produced
to the said court, the assent in writing of so ma-
ny of his creditors as have due to them the
amount of two-thirds of the debts due by him
at the time of passing the act:
It is thereupon adjudged and ordered, by
the said court, that the said George Bu-
chanan (by causing a copy of this order to be
inset ted in some one of the news-papers in
the city of Baltimore, every other day, for three
months, successively, before the fourth Mon-
day in March next) give notice to his credi-
tors to appear before the said county court, at
the court-house inthe said county, atlO o'clock,
in the forenoon of the said fourth Monday in
March next, for the purpose of recommending
a trustee for their benefit, on the said George
Buchanan, then and there taking the oath by
the said act prescribed for delivering up his

schedule of his proporty and a list of his cre-
ditors, on oath, as far as he can ascertain
them, as directed by the said act, being an
nexed to his petition ; and the said county
court being satisfied by competent testimony,
that the said John Neale, has resided the two
preceding years within the state of Maryland,
prior to the passage of the said act ; and the
said John Neale, at the lime of presenting his
petition as aforesaid, having produced to the
said court, the assent in writing of so many
of his creditors as have due to them the
amount of two-thirds of the debts due by him
at the time of passing the said act.
It is thereupon adjudged and ordered, by
the said court, that the said John Neale (by
causing a copy of this order to be Inserted
in the Federal Gazette, every other day, un
til the fourth day of April next) give notice
to his creditors to appear before the said coun
ty court, at the Court-House in the said coun
ty, at ten o'clock in the forenoon of the said
fourth day of April next, for the purpose of
recommending- a trustee for their benefit, on
