RAN away, on the '26th instant, from the subscriber, living in Bush River neck, Harford county, Maryland, two negro men, one named BEN, about 35 years old, 6 feet high, strait and well made, of a darkish complection ; high nose ; has lost one of his upper foreteeth ; generally wears bis wool platted or queued, and plays on the violin. The other, named HAR- RY, about 25 yean of age, 5 feet high, dark- ish complection; a remarkably handsome fel- low, and when spoken to, has generally a plea- sant countenance. The end of one of his lit- tle fingers has been mashed by a piece of lim- ber, tlie nail split, and the end of the finger theft by rendered blunt: wears bis wool gene- ner.il'.y platted and turned up with a comb. These negroes are brothers, and both very good sawyers, and are much accustomed to he wing timber with the broad axe. Their com- mon working deaths were, a short round- about jacket, of coarse brown cloth, and lined either with green or yellow baize, and shirts and tA-users of Russia sheeting, with good ft-ltbals They probably took with them vari- ous other cloatbs, which cannot be described The above reward will be given, for securing the said negroes in any jail without the state of Maryland, or fifty dollars for each. March 6. 2av» The Subscriber oilers for Sale The following TRACTS of'LAN'n, lying in Al- legany county, Maryland, viz. 1. " Land flowing with milk and honey," con- taining in the whole about U747acres. A great proportion of this tract is in natural meadow, which is intersected by a number of small ri- vulets ; the remainder is heavily timbered, and well adapted to tberaising of small grain It lies about forty miles to the south-west of fort Cumberland, is on the waters of the Great Youghoughany, and about 4 miles distant from the main road leading through Virginia to the western country. The same is divided into smalltracts, comprising from 300 to 400 acres each, to suit purchasers. 2. " Good Hope," This tract lies contigu- ous to the " land flowing with milk and ho- ney," and contains 389 acres, 120 whereof are natural meadow, the residue is heavily timber- ed, and in the certificate is described "the first qualitj land." , 3. "Clover Bottom"lie^onthe Little Cross ings, about 3 miles south of Braddock's road, contains 132 acres of land, a part of which is well calculated for meadow, the remainder is we'd timbered, and of the first quality. On this tract there is a Grist and Saw mill, both of which might be put into good order, at a very small expence. Tha Grist mill is three stoies high, and has an excellent pair of country stones; there is also a wheel for a pair of Burrs. 4. " Cornucopia". This tract contains 1100 acres, and is the residence of Mr. Dan. Grain The improvements are, a large and comforta- ble dwelling-house, and an extensive barn with stabling underneath; a young thriving orchard, and about 100 acres of cleared land under good fencing. Braddock's road passes hrough said farm, which makes it an eli- gible stand tor a Pkji'.c Tiouse, being twenty-two miles from Fort Cumberland. Few- arms in Maryland, the same distance from Baltimore, are more valuable than tins. It is of die first quality as to soil, heavily linil and nearly the one half of it well adapted to timothy meadow; the residue equally well adapted to the raising of wheat, rye, oats, oc. The one-fifth of the purchase money will be required in band, the residue in fiye annual payments. Mr. Grant wills' ow the above land to any person who should be inclined to pur. chase. JAMES P.
