Likewise, two apple-orchards, two peach ditto, of the best of fruit, with cherry and plumb-tree s, and about 30 remark- ably fine pear trees, from the fruit of which alone considerable sums have been made. In fact, no place in tha country can be better situated, either tor the grazier or planter, tor nearly the whole of the (arm cen be put into meadow at a small expence. The fishery on this place, in the season, is extremely profita- ble ; and the shores are I'm d with wildfowl of all kinds. It has the advantage of an ele- gant prosp»ct of the river and adjacent coun. try, at:d gooi water. The distance to Balti more by land is 16 miles, and by water 4 or 5 hours sail.
