Mill $ Farm for Saleby Auction.
On THURSDAY,
"The l&th July, at half pant 11 o'clock at the
Vendue Warehouse at the corner of Second and
Fredirici'Streett, will be sold on a liberal
credit,
Windsor MILL, on Gwynn's Falls, with all
the Machinery thereunto belonging, with
about 165 acres of Land, situated about four
miies from this city, near one-half of which
is cleared ami under good fence, and well
Bet with clover and other grass The im-
provements are, a neat and well finished two- ;
story Hone Dwelling House, Coopers' Shop, ,
large Stables and other convenient out-houses,
all built with stone.
The Mill has lately undergone a thorough
repair, there are between 20 and SO feet
head and fall. She has two water wheels
¦which work three pair o Suit Stones, and
is calculated to manufacture about 60 barrels
of flour per day.
The property will be shewn previous to
the sale on application to the Miller, (Mr.
Hugh M'Gregory) on the premises or to Mr.

40,000 acres of Land.
The subscribers will offer for sale at Tho's
Chase's Auction Room, on THURSDAY,
2'3d instant, all their right, title and interest,
as Trustees to the fallowing valuable pro-
perty, viz :
40,000 acres of LAND, lying on the navi-
gable waters of the little Kenahawa River,
and Bear Fork cf Steer Creek, in Harrison
county, Virginia. This Land is represented
to be of very good quality, heavily covered
with val.table timber, on a navigable river
nnd distant only about 35 miles from the river ,
Ohio. A considerable portion of the tract
consits of first rate bottom Lands. This pro-
perty on account of its advantageous situati-
on, rapid settlements in the neighborhood, h
its intrinsic and increasing values, offers to
speculators and persons disposed to invest
their money permanently in Lands, an oppor-
tunity seld-m offered to them, and which
from the great demand for such property in
the Western Gauntry, must seldom occur
again- It is laid off ill Lots of 50Q acres each.
Toe title is considered by the trustees to be
unquestionably good. The original survey and
other papers, with, the plats >*c together with
the opiniou of counsel relative to the vali-
dity oi the title, will be left at the store of
Johfl Trimble, No. 18, Cheapside, till the
day of sate, where those inclined to purchase
may ba\ e an opportunity of examining tlrera.
The Creditors of Clement, Brook, who pre-
fer settling their accounts immediately, by
purchase, are respectfully informed that their

named John Fleming, about 17 years of age,
5 feet seven inches high dark brown hair.
Had on when he went away, a blue Coatee,
and white Dimity Waistcoat, white Cotton
Stockings, and Thicksett Pantaloons, Castor
Hat, and Shoes half worn. He is supposed to
have gone towards Baltimore. The above re-
ward will be given if brought home, and if
lodged in jail, so that 1 can get him again JO

prepared to gratify them in both. His house
is in all respects in an improved state, his
, rooms freshly embellished and furnished with
the best Beds, nnd his cellars replenished
with a variety of the choicest Liquors. He
promises a plentiful and luxriotis Table em-
Wilished by the best cooks ; and has been
at the expence of sinking in the solid Rock,
t and replenishing with abuudancs of Ice a cave
for the refreshment of his Spring Guests. He
will have obliging Waiters, and plenty of them,
together with Music for the entertainment of
such as delight in that exquisite Treat The
House on the south side of the Bridge, is
occupied by Mr. Robert Long, who kept it
formerly, and who has fitted it in the best
wanner lor the accommodation of Boarders.
N. Maxwell in this age of puffing, has
chosen to content himself with this plain and
modest notice, begging his readers to believe
that he means to pertbrm even more than he
feas promised.

• ridge, (the summer residence of Charles Car
toil, of Carrollton, Esq.) on the i9th instant, a
Negro Man, named WILLIAM ; about 30
years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high ; of a
pleasing countenance ; wears his wool platted
on the locks and behind, and turned up with a
comb. His clothing that can be recollected is,
t _»lor,g blue cloth coat, London brown panta-
loons, black ditto, new shoes with one row of
hob nails round the soles an j heels. He was
I itely purchased of judge Chase, of the. city of
Baltimore. Whoever will -deliver the above
' Negr.'' to the subscriber, at the manor on Elk-
ri lge, shall receive Twenty Dollars; or, if
secured hi Baltimore jail, Fifteen Dollars, in-
eluding what the law allows
