Forty Dollars Reward.
RAN away from the subscriber in Septem-
ber last, a Negro Ivjan named LUKE, about
twenty-two a ears old, five f&st nine or ten
inches high, wide mouth, thick lips, a little in-
knecd, walks much on the inside of his feet,
snd turns bta tio4« considerably out; when walk-
ing1, ready at an answer, and talks much.
Also another, called ANTHONY, a likely
-fellow, who went off on or about the 13th of
J line last, about 34 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9
in flies high, well set, stammers much when
atlring-, and has a slight eruption in the b-.t.oln
of his •belly. Both of those fellows I purchas-
ed lately of the family of the Bowling?, in and
near I,:scataway, where they have relations, _.
amongit whom they are probably secreted.
I will give the above reward for securing
them in jad, so that I k>.et them again, or 20
dollars for either, and pay all reasonable ex
pences if brought home to Prince George's

Richard Burnett- He is stout made, about
5 feet 4 or 5 inches high ; 21 or 22 years of
age'j of a pleasing countenance j his teeth are
broad and v> hite in front He was bred to
the brick making busin-ss, and is acquainted
with all its blanches. He has taken a num-
ber of Clothes with him, amongst which are,
one fine b'.ue Cloth Coat, with yellow buttons,
one yellow nankeen upper jacket, trimmed
all round with blue 'ape ; one or two pair of
namVeen overhauls ; one tarpolin Hat; one
fine fiur ditto j the other part of his clothes
cannot be so easily described. It is suppos
ed that he is gone towards Philadelphia, as
he was seen, on the Philadelphia road the
same day that he ranr.way, and it is suppos-
ed that he has procured a forged pass I
will give 20 dollars if taken within 10 miles,
and 30 dollars if taucn above 10 miles, and,
within the slate of Maryland ; and the above
reward i:' taken out. of the slate, and secur-
ed in Baltimore jail, and all reasonable charges.
