Baltimore, 7th August, 18')7.
Certificate of Samuel Vincent, Esq. Justice
of the Peace
Some time in the Spring of the present
year, I was very much tro.ible with the tooth
ache. I had thoughts of having it drawn ;
.1 by chance happened in conversation with
Mr Guy, to whom I related my intention
He advised me to avoid extra-ting the tooth,
as he presumed he had a specific, and re-
quested me to make a trial ; when he men-
tioned this to me, I recoiled that I was told
by some petson that he had cured him of the
t oth ache ; I determined to give it a trial,
and made use of his solutio , p riiaps three
or four limes, and have hot had any return of
it
About three months since a colored girl of
mine was also afii cted with the same pain —
I sent her to Mr. Guy, who also furnished
her with, I presume, the same solution, and
after three or four washings, the pain was re-
moved, and no complaint since.
SAMUEL VINCENT.
Ccrlfcate of the Mcv. Alexander M'Coire.
I hi rjby certify that I was afflicted with
the tooth ache from about the first of last
March to the begining of June ; at which
period I was on my way to tb, Dentist, when
1 met with a friend, who umlesrstanding
where I was going, andvised ins to go to
Mr. Guy, and he w ould cure me VV Ith much
persuasion 1 agreed 10 make the trial not be-
lieving however, that I derive much advan-
tage (if any) from it. But to my great sur-
prize and satisfaction, I was perfecdy cured,
by applying his tooth water 01.ly twice, since
which I have been ss free of the tooth ache
as I have been at any period of my lite.
