Land for Sale.
The subscriber intending to remove to the
Louisiana country, is disposed to sell his
PLANTATION, 8 miles from the city of
Baltimore, adjoining the Lands of Cornelius
Howard, esq. and Dr John Cromwell, and
within half a mile of major George Beam's
Tavern, on the Reister's-town turnpike road.
The Land offered for sale is about 210
acres. Fifteen aeres are now in meadow and
thirty more can sasily be made, nearly one-
fourth of the whole Tract is covered with
young thriving timber, the residue of arable
Land, superior to almost any in the neighbor,
hood, well adapted to the use of Plalster—
and divided into convenient and well watered
fields by good fences. The improvsments are
a good Dwelling House, 1< itchen and Out
Houses, with a pailed in Garden and Yard ;
also an Apple and Peach Orchard of choice
Fruits. It. is presumed no person will pur
chase without first viewing the premises,
therefore it is only necessary to remind the
public, that its contiguity to the city, on a fine
I'urnpike Road, and in a most excellent
neighborhood, renders such a situation, rare
to be met with, particularly within that dis
tance of Baltimore ; few men in i\ aryland,
can boast of having a more healthy retreat__
Those inclined to view the premises, may
apply to Mr. Thomas Darlington, residing
thereon j and for terms of sale to Dr. Thomas
Johnson, Baltimore county, or the subscriber.
JOHN JOHNSON.
N B. The above described Laud will
either be sold together, or divided into Lots,
as may best suit the purchaser, tliere being
several Springs of good water, and handsome
eminences. ^H
