Strayed f'-om thestable of the subscriber liv-
ing at the Buck Tavern, on the road leading
from Baltimore to the City of Washington, in
Ail' e-Arundel County, in the fork of Patuxei.t
ri.er and near Snowden's old Iron Winks, at
night, on the 14th inst.a Bright Bay HORSE,
five or six years old, fourteen or filteen hands
high—has his mane hogged, has an old wound
on the inner-side of his right hind knee joint,
which is very notable—it makes the part of that
leg very much larger than the same part of his
other ; and he is branded with two C'sou his
hind thigh ; and likewise the same brands on
his fore shoulder ; from the brands, many per-
sons suppose him to have been raised by
Charles Caruoll of Carrolton. I bought him
of Mr. Hugh Lecky, living on Fell's-Point in
Baltimore, & In purchased him ill Baltimore ;
he started toward Baltimore, & I imagine hehas
endeavored to {,et there, or to some one of
Carroll's plantations, most likely to Elk Ridge,
as he has lar«e Plantations there. To any
person who will bring home said horse, the
above reward and all reasonable charges will
