The following resolution was moved and

"That the use of the bouse belonging to
the proprietors of the Baltimore Dancing As-
sembly (except the room occupied by the Li-
brary Society! be, and hereby is offered to the
state fur five years, for the use of the general
assembly, upon such terras as may be agreed
on with a committee of proprietors, to be ap-
pointed for that purpost."
Whereupon it was resolved, that al'hoi.gh
the present meeting, being a quorum, have
power to adopt the said resolution, and do fully
approve thereof, yet on a matter of such mo-
ment, the sense ol the proprietors ought to be
more gene rail) taken ; therefore the resolution
is postponed till Tuesday next, the 10th inst
when the proprietors are requested to meet at
the room, at seven o'clock, P. M for the pur-
