Jteltimoret Monday. September 29 f 1902. Board met; present, Messrs. Upshur. Morris & Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting, September 26. 1902. were read, approved and adopted. Trials. Officer James F.Dunn, Southern District, was tried upon, found guilty of the following charge and fined $1.00:- CHARGE. "Having been in the office of J.W. Sheridan, corner Webster Court & Barre street, at 5:10 A.M., September 29,1902, on other than police business." Officer Thomas McGrain, Northern District, was tried upon, found guilty of the following charge and fined $10.00, and warned that if found guilty of a similar offense in the future he might expect to be dismissed from the force. CHARGE. t "Being under the influence of liquor coming off duty 7.10 P.M., September 26,1902." Turnkey Charles H.Sinclair. Western District, was tried upon, found guilty of the following charge and fined $2.00 CHARGE. "Neglect of duty, by carelessly allowing Alfred McCray,c, a sentenced prisoner, to escape from his custody, from the Western Police Station, at 9.25 A.M., On Sept. 26,1902." Complaint of A.Neuman, Against Sgt. Frank J.Plum. N. W. District. In the matter of complaint preferred by A.Neuman, 1419 Patterson Avenue, against Sergeant Frank J.Plum, Northwestern District, as referred to in the proceedings of September 24th., and 26th., 1902, Sergeant Plum was called before the Board. He made statement substantially as given in his written report attached to papers filed as Exhibit No. 796.
