After hearing Sergeant Plum's statement, the President speak-ing for the Board, told Sergeant Plum that the matter involved in the complaint of Mr. Neuman was a civil matter and he had acted under a misconception of his duties in interfering and advising Mr. Thomas C.Carmack to swear out a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Neuman, because of a retention of the coat in question. The President also told Sergeant Plum that the Board desired to express to him its disapproval of his action in the premises. Requisition. Requisition No. 26 was drawn on the Mayor & City Council for #350.06, to pay the salaries of the three members of the Board of Police Examiners and their Secretary for the month of September 1902, and sundry bills:- Total for salaries.................$300.00 Expenses................. 60.06 (See requisition copy-book).
