Saloon. Gay & Hoffman Streets. Violation of Liquor Law & Gambling. An unsigned communication was received, complaining of saloon kept by one Rice, Gay & Hoffman Streets, where the writer of said communication alleges, liquor is sold, and gambling permitted in violation of law. It was ordered that the said communication be referred to the Marshal with instructions to place the matter in the hands of the Deputy Marshal for attention. Appointment Reconsidered. The Board, by the following vote, reconsidered its action in the appointment of Henry M.Link, as hereinbefore referred to. The vote upon the reconsideration of appointment of Henry M.Link, as referred to, was:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. The name of Henry M.Link was therefore by unanimous vote withdrawn. Bills Passed.
