| O c n 27 Department that he desired to be absent from his duties from 8 A.M., October 8 to 8 A.M., October 10,1902, and that he, the Secretary, had assigned Additional Justice Neilson Poe, Jr., to sit at the Southern Sta-house during the absence of Justice Robertson,as aforesaid. The action of the Secretary was approved. Transfers. Upon the recommendation of Captain Thomas B.McGee, Eastern District, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Officer James R.Ennis be transferred from Division B to Division A; vice Officer John Donnelly, deceased. It was also ordered that Officer James A.Kearns be transferred from the Southern to the Central District. Boxing Exhibitions. Reports. Reports were received from the Marshal upon the subject of Boxing Exhibitions given under the auspices of the Eureka Athletic Club and the Eutaw Athletic Club at Germania Maennerchoir Hall, October 3rd. and Šth. respectively. Said reports were read and ordered filed, see Exhibit No.812. App1ication for Permits. Upon the recommendation of the Marshal it was ordered that permit be granted the Eureka Athletic Club to hold Boxing Exhibition at Germania Maennerchoir Hall, Friday, October loth. Application was received from John Friedel, 1727 E.Pratt street, for permit to hold an amateur boxing contest at Broadway Institute, October 8,1902, which application not having of been made ten days prior to the dateAproposed exhibition, as required by the Board was refused. |
