1*> Baltimore. Friday, October 31st.1902. Board met,present,Messrs Upshur,I,Iorris and Fowler. --------oooooo------- The minutes of the previous meeting,October 29th,1902, were read.approved and adopted. Trial. Officer William R. Patton, Central District,was tried upon, found guilty of the following charge and fined ^2. Charge;_ Having been twenty one minutes behind his squad coming in off duty,4^19 A.M., October 31st,1902,--(Alseep on his post). Donations. Upon the recommendation of Captain John J. Fullem, '.'.'estern District,approved by the I.Iarshal, it was ordered that Sergeant John F. Singer be permitted to retain thirty dollars donated by the United States Government for the apprehension of '.Villiam Detloyd, a deserter from the United States Army. Upon the recommendation of the Captain of Detectives,approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Detective Mark Hagan be permitted to retain five dollars donated by T. J. Black,of Charlotte, IT. C. , for the arrest of H. B.McDowell, charged with forgery. Rubber tires for the Light Dayton Wagon. Upon the recommendation of the Lieutenant of Mounted Police, concurred in by the Deputy Marshal and approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that new rubber tires be ptat on the light day ton wagon of the department at the cost of Thirty Six Dollars. The vote upon the purchase of rubber tires as above was, President Upshur,.....Yea, Commissioner Morris,..Yea, Commissioner Fowler,...Yea. Recommendations filed as exhibit No. 845. - Police Patrol Boat- Repairs to. In response to invitations sent out on October 24th,1902, bids, as follows,were received for repairs to the police
