| eOGC 109 OFFICE OF BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimore, Friday November 14, 1902. Board met; present, Messrs Upshur, Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting, Wednesday. November 12, 1902, were read, approved and adopted. Trials. Officer Charles A.Ruley, Eastern District, was tried upon the charge of having been thirty minutes late for School of Instructions, 6 P.M., November 12, 1902. In connection with the above case it was ordered that the Marshal cause an investigation to be made to ascertain if the reasons given by the officer for the delay in reaching the Station-house for School of Instructions on November 12,1902, are true, and also to find out the reputation, etc., of witnesses Jaeger and Hopkins. The finding in the case was deferred pending the Marshal's investigation and report. Case of Officer Henry Fischer, S.W.District. In the matter of Officer Henry Fischer, Southwestern District, who was tried upon charges, as mentioned in the proceedings of November 12,1902, a report was received from the Police Physicians of the result of their examination of said officer; report stating the condition of Officer Fischer showB that he has been addicted to excessive use of alcoholic drinks for a long time. A report was also received from the Marshal of his investigation with respect to the relations existing between Officer Fischer and Mrs. Mamie Amos. The Board found Officer Henry Fischer, Southwestern District, guilty of the charges, as hereinbefore referred to, and |
