| "Nov. 16, 1902. Board of Police Commissioners. Gentlemen:- Policeman James Marsden, N.17.District, represents that he has been bitten by a dog which has been killed and destroyed. As there are mad dogs in this vicinity it seems prudent that he should be treated in order to prevent Hydrophobia. He states that he is unable to meet the expense (#120.) This institute receives no appropriation from City or State and depends upon its fees for support. Can the Board do anything in this matter. Yours respectfully, N.G.KEIRLE, Director."
