Or-n 135 OFFICE OF BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimore, Tuesday, November 25, 1902. Board met; present, Messrs. Upshur, Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting. Monday November 24,1902, were read, approved and adopted. Boxing Exhibition. Application was received from Joseph Klawns, 306 N.High street, for permit to hold Boxing Contest at Broadway Institute, December 8,1902. It was ordered that the said application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and recommendation. Escape of Prisoner. Northwestern District. In the matter of the escape of Clarence Harris, prisoner, from the custody of Officer James J. Bryan, Northwestern District, as referred to in the proceedings of November 24,1902. A further report was received from the Marshal recommending that Officer Bryan be called before him, the Marshal, and cautioned to be more careful in the future. The recommendation of the Marshal was approved. See report of Marshal filed as Exhibit No. 874. Assignment of Magistrate. Justice Jacob Rab was authorized to act as Police Justice for the Eastern District from 3 P.M., to-day, until relieved, in the place of Justice William J.Garland, reported sick. Additional Justice Neilson Foe, Jr., assigned to the Northern District. Justice Neilson Foe, Jr., assigned to the Northern District in the place of Justice J.
