Secretary, OFFICE OF BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimore. Saturday, November 29, 1902. Board met; present. Messrs. Upshur, Morris & Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting, Friday November 28,1902, were read, approved and adopted. Case of Maryland Anti-Saloon League. vs. Captain A.J.Pumphrey. The hearing of the charges preferred by the Maryland Anti-aaloon League against Captain A.J.Pumphrey, as mentioned in the proceedings of November 21,190 2, and which hearing began November 21,1902, and continued November 25, 26 and 28, was concluded to-day; the proceedings being reported stenographically. The case was taken under advisement. Assignment of Magistrate. The Secretary reported to the Board that after its adjournment November 26,1902, Justice William J.Robertson, Southern District, had notified the Department that he desired to be absent from his duties November 28,1902, and that the Secretary had assigned Justice Charles Reviol to act as Police Justice for the Southwestern District during the absence of William J.Robertson, as above, and that he had failed to call the Board's attention to same at its meeting November 28,1902.
