| Transfers. Upon the recommendation of the Lieutenant of Counted Police, and Captain Thomas B. McGee, Eastern District, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that transfers, as follows, be made, to take effect immediately, viz:- That Officer James A.Crawford, driver of Patrol wagon be transferred to street duty, That Officer Matthew Miller. A.Division, be transferred to the patrol wagon service as driver. That Officer John B.Coxf footman of the patrol wagon be transferred to street duty, That Officer Henry J.Morgareth, B.Division, be transferred to the patrol wagon service, as footman, That Officer George W.Burton, C.Division, be designated as substitute wagon man, vice Matthew Miller, That Officer George \'l. Collins. B. Division, be designated as substitute wagon man, vice Officer George N.Kissner. New Typewriter for H«Q. It was ordered by the following vote that there be purchased for the use of Police Headquarters one typewriter machine, to replace one now in the service worn out. The vote upon the purchase of typewriting machine, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. Boxing Permits. No more to be Issued. The Board decided that it would not hereafter grant permits for Boxing Contests, except in instances only of those applications now pending and favorably considered by the department , in which cases permits may be granted, provided the applicants obtain and exhibit at the office of the Secretary of the Board, permission of the Mayor. The Secretary was instructed in accordance with the above, See Exhibit No. 886. |
