the hands of the Marshal, upon the subject of loss by officer John T.Devon of his badge No. 227. It was ordered that new badge be furnished to Officer Devon at his, the officer's, expense. See exhibit i:o.887. Injury to Off. Wm.A.Cole. Report was received from Captain John J.Fullem, through the hands of the Marshal, upon the subject of Officer William A.Cole, of the Western District, having been shot by John G.Williams,c, December 4, 1902. Said report was read and ordered filed, see Exhibit 1!0.888. Transfers. Upon the recommendation of Captain John J.Fullem, Western District, concurred in by the Marshal, it was ordered that the following transfers be made in the Western District to take 6f-fect immediately, viz:- Off. Caleb H.Bortle, A. to B. Division. Off. James L.Roche, B. to A. Division. Off. Harry C.Birmingham, A. to B.Division. Off. Hugh J.Byrne. B. to A.Division. Off. Timothy Hughes. A. to C.Division. Off. George W.Bowers, C. to A.Division. Off. George C.Schmidt, A. to C.Division. Off. John McKenna, C. to A. Division. Off. Harry C.Seibold. A. to B.Division. Off. Valentine Duerr, B. to C.Division. Off. John C.Leonard, C. to A.Division. Off. Albert E.Cadamore, B. to C.Division. Off. Wesley L.Scrivner, C. to B.Division. Off. Charles H.D.Finch, B. to C.Division. Off. William F.Gerwig. C. to B.Division. Upon the recommendation of Captain Fullem, approved by the Marshal, it was also ordered that Officer Joseph Brunne^..,Jr. , C.Division, be assigned as Turnkey, Western District, and that Turnkey Charles H.Sinclair be assigned to street duty.
