| 94 be made, to take effect immediately, viz:- That Officer Francis R.Carroll, Mounted Service, be transferred to street duty, That Officer William S.Herrick, A.Division, Northern District, be transferred from street duty to Mounted Service. That Officer Winchester P.Mason be transferred from Mounted Service to street duty, That Officer William Vincent. B.Division, Northern District, be transferred from street duty to Mounted Service. Injury to Horse - Mounted Service. In the matter of injury to horse, ridden by Officer Winchester P.Mason, as referred to in the proceedings of December 17, 1902, report was received from the Marshal of his investigation into the subject, which was read and ordered filed, see Exh.906. In this connection it was ordered that Officer Winchester F.Mason be brought before the Board on Monday, December 22,1902. Retirement of Sergeant Clarence Walmsley, Central District. A report was received from the Police Physicians of the result of their examination of Sergeant Clarence Walmsley, Central District, who the Board directed to be examined, as referred to in the proceedings of December 5,1902, the said report stating that Sergeant Clarence Walmsley was permenently disabled by reason of an injury received by him in the discharge of his duty, June 30, 1891, and that he is unfit for active police duty. The Board thereupon ordered by the following vote, that Sergeant Clarence Walmsley, Central District, be retired on one-half pay; said retirement to date from January 1, 1903. The vote upon the retirement of Sergeant Clarence Walmsley, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. Application of Sgt.
