Donations. Upon the recommendation of Captain George G.Henry,Southern District, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Detective Thomas A.Berney, Sergeant Edward C.Johnson and Officer W.H. Vogelman, Southern District, be permitted to retain Twenty Dollars, donated to them by Burdette H.Parren, 222 W.Lafayette Ave., for the recovery of his gold watch and chain, and arrest of Wil-lian Young, charged with larceny. Upon the recommendation of the Marshal it was ordered that Detective James J.Flannery be permitted to retain Twenty-five Dollars, donated to him by P.H.Hammond, Covington, Virginia, for the recovery of gold watch, chain and charm. Death. Captain Thomas B.McGee, Eastern District, reported the death of Sergeant John A.Roycroft, of that district, who died December 23,1902. Linoleum. Southwestern District. Upon the requisition of Captain George League, Southwestern District, it was ordered that linoleum be furnished the said Station-house to cover the floor behind the desk in Assembly Room. The vote upon the purchase of linoleum, as above, was:- President Upshur,.....Yea, Commissioner Morris,..Yea, Commissioner Fowler,..Yea. (Recommendation of Captain League filed as, Exhibit No.911. Wrestling Match. Application was received from Charles J.Weiss, 418 Robert street, for permit to hold Wrestling Match, Germania Maennerchor Hall, January 6. 1903.
